Youthful Thinking

Youthful Thinking

In this world, “youthful thinking” stands out as a source of creativity and resilience. Scripture teaches us, as demonstrated in 1 Timothy 4:12, where Paul encourages young Timothy: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.” This verse exemplifies the core of young thinking: embracing one’s potential regardless of age, encouraging innovation, and leading by example.

Biblical figures like Joseph and David exemplify youthful thought throughout their lives. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers but ascended to become Egypt’s governor, sparing nations from hunger by his creative leadership (Genesis 41). Similarly, David, a young shepherd, shown courage.

As Christian entrepreneurs, business owners, and employees, let us embody Joseph and David’s spirit. Allow youthful thought to motivate us to look beyond the obvious, to invent, and to believe in God’s guidance. Allow us to work hard, remain cheerful, and lead with faith and honesty. Make a daily commitment to embrace the ideas of young thinking in our professional and personal lives, providing an example for others to follow.
